The Legion of Mary is an international association of Catholics who, under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, have formed themselves into a Legion for service to the Church.

Its objective is to glorify God through the sanctification of its members by prayer and active cooperation under ecclesiastical guidance, in Mary’s and the Church’s work of crushing the head of the serpent and advancing the reign of Christ.

The basic unit of the Legion is called a Praesidium, which holds a weekly meeting, where prayer is intermingled with instruction in the Faith and active apostolate work.
