Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are appointed to facilitate the distribution of Holy Communion within Mass when there is a large number of communicants.

They also assist the Priests with the distribution of Holy Communion by bringing Holy Communion to the homebound aged and sick members of the Parish.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must demonstrate a deep reverence for and devotion to the Eucharist.
