2024 Catechism Class Vacancy Updates

Parents who had submitted the registration forms on or before 25 February 2024, 10.30am, please note that the Catechetical Office will get in touch with you by 9 or 10 March 2024 to inform you of the status of your child’s registration. However, submitting or being told to submit the 2024 Catechism Registration Form does not mean that your child has been enrolled.

Otherwise, parents who had submitted the registration forms after 25 February 2024, 10.30am, these applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

For classes that are full and parents would like to be placed on a waiting list, please complete the online form at https://forms.office.com/r/HCvvpYb00L. The Catechetical Office will only contact you if there is vacancy.

2024 Catechism Registration (For K1 – L6 Only)

2024 Catechism will be conducted in 3 phases and followed the period as described below :

How to Register

Phase 1 Registration

Current Students

1. Parents / guardians shall receive an email inviting them to re-register their child / children for 2024 Catechism Programme, according to the period stated above.
2. Upon receiving the email to re-register, parents / guardians can register for the class by responding to the email.
3. Parents / guardians who do not see the email, please kindly check the Spam or Junk folder.
4. Parents / guardians who do not receive the email within 3 days of the stated schedule, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

Siblings

1. Please kindly fill up the form which can be downloaded from the link as below :

   We also will provide a blank form which can be collected from the Parish Office.
2. To speed up the process, please scan and email the completed form, including the supporting documents, to [email protected]
3. Meanwhile, the duly signed original form and requisite documents shall reach our office latest by 14 January 2024 (Phase 1 registration closing date). You can drop off the form in a sealed envelope into the COTT mailbox located outside the building, or pass it to the Parish Office. Please kindly put the attention in the envelope to “Catechetical Ministry”.

New Children of Active Ministry Members

1. Please kindly fill up the yellow form which can be collected from the Parish Office.
2. To speed up the process, please scan and email the completed form, including the supporting documents, to [email protected].
3. Meanwhile, the duly signed original form and requisite documents shall reach our office latest by 14 January 2024 (Phase 1 registration closing date). You can drop off the form in a sealed envelope into the COTT mailbox located outside the building, or pass it to the Parish Office. Please kindly put the attention in the envelope to “Catechetical Ministry”.

Phase 2 and 3 Registration

Subject to Catechist and class availability, we may not be able to open for all the levels. We will update the new announcement when the time is nearer.

Catechism Fees

Catechism fee of SGD 50 per child per year is payable at the time of registration via PayNow only via DBS PayLah! or your Internet Banking App.

In the event that you are not able to afford the catechism fee, please let us know by sending us an e-mail to [email protected]

Please note that:

• Due to capacity limits (based on regulations stipulated by the respective government authorities), we seek your understanding that we are not able to accommodate all children and registration will be subject to space availability for the relevant level(s).
• The Catechetical Office shall send a confirmation e-mail to you (within 2 weeks from the date of registration) once your child has been accepted.

Bibles

Children’s Bible

Children’s bibles will be issued to:

1. Children who are enrolled in the COTT’s L1 & L2 Catechism Programme for 2023; and
2. L3 – L4 children who are enrolled in COTT’s 2023 Catechism Programme for the first time.

Youth Bible

Youth bibles will be issued to:

1. Children who are enrolled in COTT’s L5 Catechism Programme for 2023; and
2. L6 – L7 children/teens who are enrolled in COTT’s 2023 Catechism Programme for the first time.

ClassDojo

All parents/guardians whose children/wards are enrolled in the 2023 Catechism Programme are required to download and install the ClassDojo App into their mobile phones. This app maybe downloaded from Apple’s App Store or Google Play.

A ClassDojo invite will be emailed to you in due course for parents/guardians to connect to their child’s/ward’s Catechism class. Please check your e-mail’s Junk or Spam folder if necessary.

Please note that all communications, notifications, and announcements regarding COTT’s Catechism Programme will be made via ClassDojo.
